Internet yhteys!! / Proper internet connection!!!
Sitähän ei Ausseissa saa kovin edullisesti ainakaan
Siinä mielessä tekniikka oli pahasti jäljessä. Nyt kuitenkin saimme normaalin ADSL yhteyden 10 Megaisen joten passaa latailla kuvia ja katella leffoja netistä vaikka =) Tässäpä siis antia viimeisiltä päiviltä Brissyssä ja matkalta kotiin sekä ensimmäisiltä päiviltä kotimaassa.

In Aus you can't get one in affrordable price anyway. In technical point o view they are way behind in Aus. Anyway we got normal ADSL connection now 10 Mbytes so I can upload and even watch movies from the internet. Here you will find last pics from Brissy and the first from Finland =)

Tältä se kämppä näytti ennen lähtöä. Pinoja siellä täällä...

This is what our house looked like in Burpengary just before leaving... Just a pile of clothes, suitcases and pram.

Viimeiset pari päivää olimme viimeinkin turisteja Brisbanessa. Menimme CityCatilla keskustaan ja ihania maisemia olikin! Alla muutama.

For the last few days we were tourists in Brisbane (finally LOL) Took a Citycat ride and it was lovely! Great scenery of the city!! Below one of them!

CityCat kyydin jälkeen menimme tiede museoon. Sain tämän suloinen lehti ötökön käteeni. Söpö pikku otus

After CityCat we went to Science museum and I got this lovely leaf insect on my hand. They blend in the leaves and can hardly be noticed if you see them. Cute little fella

Hahahah, äiti ja isi pääsi kokeilemaan millaista on olla lapsi....
————————————-
LOL mom and dad got to try what it feels like to be kid.... notice the expressions LOL

Tietysti piti käydä siinä maailmanpyörässä.

Of course we had to go to the ferris wheel. Lovely scenery of the city.

Sitten olikin aika suunnata kohti Suomea Japanin kautta. Ipanat sammuivat aika nopeasti...

It was time to head to Finland through Japan. Kids fell asleep fairly quickly.

Japanissa!!!
——————-
in Japan....

We stayed in an airport hotel for the night in Narita and didn't see much of Japan unfortunately. I did realize that I don't understand anything... the traffic signs or the stuff in the grocery store. Just finding plain milk for Luka required some defining questions at the register. Breakfast was perfect though. Miso soup with rice

Käännään näitä suomeksi kun ennätän mutta kun kaikki kuitenkin osaa lukea enkkuakin ja niitä ystäviä jäi paljon Ausseihin niin siksi pistän enkuksi heille ;(

And we did arrive in Helsinki finally. To me all happened so fast. I didn't really have time to adjust myself nor my thoughts. I was worried about what will happen when we arrive at the airport and both of our parents will be meeting us. How many tears aso.
I remember just wanting to get OUT of the airport, customs all as soon as possible. The airport was so small, it was funny to be able to read all the signs, to recognize the atmosphere and people. It felt like coming home in a certain way although your home is where your heart is right?
Well anyway once we walked pass the customs and through the doors to waiting area.... Can't really describe the feeling... I started trembling and probably trembled for a while until I had hugged everyone and shed some tears <3
Kids were a little puzzled about what's happening. They did remember grand parents but clearly I was the one who reacted the most of us.
After tears and hugs... off to figuring out how to get to our friends place for the night. It was so weird to go to their place AGAIN after almost a year. The last two nights we stayed at their house before we left you see =))) Just awesome to meet them again!

Pretty soon after we arrived me and the kids left to my hometown up north to Kokkola. We had a lovely BBQ with friends and relatives. in the pic at the front Jani Luka's godfather my father's late brothers son and on the other side Markus's girlfriend and my Fathers other brother's Jaakko's wife Chris.

Laura and Aleksi got to feed a little hedgehog! Such a cute little fella and SOOOO hungry!! Ate all of the sausages... not sure if they were good for him though :/

And here we go again.... Another empty house (well appartment, here in Finland the system is a little different. We don't have that many own private houses, but we do have loads of townhouses and multi storey buildings... no gardening Kath LOL
Well just wanted to post something to assure you all that we are doing fine. We love it here at the moment and it was definately the right choice for us! I'm enjoying enormously being at work and talking to adults for a change, plus it's soooooo quiet there that I have all the energy in the world once I get home.
Good and right move. You SHOULD follow your heart. This proves it <3
